Maruti Suzuki India Ltd share price inched up 1.77% to Rs 14188.9 after the company's net profit eased 5.80% to Rs 3446.9 crore, while revenue from operations slightly gained 0.27% to Rs 51708.2 crore in Q2FY26 over Q1FY26. The market capitalization of Passenger Cars & Utility Vehicles industry group stocks on BSE stood at Rs 11.15 lakh crore, rallying 18.02%. It has improved by 4.20% over last one week and ticked higher by 5.55% in last one month while the market capitalization of Maruti Suzuki India Ltd has marginally improved by 5.51% and 6.58% in the same period respectively. Profit before tax (PBT) of Maruti Suzuki India Ltd stood at Rs 4441.2 crore in Q2 FY26, dropping 10.16% year-on-year, and declining 9.70% quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA came in at Rs 2439 crore, falling 10.79% YoY and tumbling by 57.01% sequentially. Total expenses saw a slight increase of 3.92% to Rs 49936.8 crore in Q2FY26 over Q2FY25. During the quarter, cost of materials consumed stood at Rs 32013.2 crore, slightly declining by 8.97% YoY, while employee benefits expense was at Rs 2463.8 crore, rising by 9.59% YoY. For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations grew 11.59% to Rs 1.51 lakh crore, while net profit saw a mild growth of 7.50% to Rs 14500.2 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA jumped by 1478420% to Rs 15134.1 crore, and PBT expanded by 12.60% to Rs 19620.0 crore compared to previous TTM. The company's consolidated net cash flow from operating activities stood at Rs 16136.2 crore in FY26, as against Rs 16801.1 crore in FY25. Maruti Suzuki India Ltd rallied 12.41% in last one year, significantly outperforming the benchmark BSE Sensex which has eased by 4.36% during the same period.
